Your responsibilities

  • Develop technical specification for the product including functional and non-functional attributes at the system and subsystem levels
  • Assist the System Architect in evaluating system and subsystem design tradeoffs to build a reliable safety critical architecture
  • Work effectively with customer and sales team to understand the customer’s business needs, how a proposed solution will address those needs and be able to articulate this to the project team, and any third parties
  • Collect, define and document high-level requirements (user need, system requirement) and user scenarios with support from project management and the clinical application specialists
  • Collect, define and document low-level requirements (component requirement) with support from other project teams
  • Take part in risk management activities
  • Define and capture the system architecture using both model and document-based methods.
  • Work collaboratively with the international projects teams to meet innovation and development milestones and participate in design reviews
  • Maintain and update requirements and their traceability using the requirement management tool
  • Participate in tasks related change requests to HW and SW

Your qualifications

  • Relevant university degree (BSc, MSc or PhD level degree in STEM or Medical field)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing embedded systems
  • Self-motivated, fast learner enjoys working with complex systems
  • Innovative spirit, team player and a strong problem solver
  • Result-oriented and open-minded with a can-do attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes and customer experience
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Budapest resident
  • Experience in medical device and/or safety critical system development
  • Experience with scripting SW tools (e.g. shell scripts, Python) mandatory
  • Experience with requirement/risk management systems (3DExperience, Doors, Polarion, QWare)
  • Good command of German language
  • Hungarian language knowledge
